I shop at Walmart because they carry the items I need that I have bought for years, like their store brand items that come at a lower cost than name brands. But there are many times I get frustrated when the item I need has run out and the shelf is bare.
Last month I had on my grocery list store brand fiber caplets which are more than half the cost than Metamucil. I usually buy 160 count for $4.00 or the 100 count for $2.69 or around that price.
Today I went in to get a skein of yarn that I needed to finish a crochet blanket I am making. I only needed one and I bought some two weeks ago. Needless to say, [this happens all the time, this is not the first in the yarn department] the color I needed was out and there was none in the back. There was another color [purple] stacked in its place so no one looked to see that my color was out. Not only was that one out but almost half of the colors were empty.
I went to the bread section and lo and behold it was full, something that is a rare thing.
So, to end this story I love and hate walmart. I find their parking lot many times littered with paper and other small peices of garbage. The front restrooms are always closed for cleaning but is not always clean nor filled. Most of the time I find the sanitary napkin bin overflowing and stinks.
If I could find my 100 ct. sinus pills [$2.79] or my 42 ct. omeprazole [$16. and under] I definitely would go elsewhere.
